Llobregat area
Llobregat River Park is the result of an open territorial transformation project located in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. The affected area extends from Pont del Diable (Devil's Bridge) of Martorell to Llobregat Delta, and includes, apart from the main fluvial area of the river, connections with tributary streams and entrances to the main urban centres located in the immediate vicinity of Llobregat River. On the whole, it is a complex area of over 1,000 hectares, profoundly altered and with serious ecological imbalances, both structural and functional.
