AMB Informació i Serveis SA (AMB Informació) is a metropolitan corporation founded on 21st may 1986. The company is a body directly managed by the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.

The service hours are: from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 22 pm, and Saturdays from 8 pm to 15 pm, without interruption.

Social responsibilities
  1. Information and dissemination to citizens about public transport services in the metropolitan area of Barcelona: it will be mainly conducted through phone calls or online. Citizens can check the offer (bus, metro, FGC, Renfe and taxi service) and their possible transfers, schedules, fares and duration of the journey. CETRAMSA also attends, by phone and email, complaints and reports about public transports, which are recorded and transferred via internet to TMB (Metropolitan Transports of Barcelona), the AMB or the Metropolitan Taxi Institute.
  2. Promotion of metropolitan public transport in collaboration with other organisations and businesses basically by providing the information and expertise for the operation of various tasks, such as: designing and developing information leaflets on bus lines within the AMB; updating and editing of the Guide of Metropolitan Transports, and carrying out the graphical signage of the network of metropolitan public surface transport in the area of the first metropolitan zone and on cartographic basis.
  3. Creation and maintenance of the documentation file on metropolitan transport, which will be daily updated and properly treated and computerized, so as to give technical support to Metropolitan Service of Transport Information (via phone or internet), promoting at the same time the basis for the publication of guides and maps of this website.
  4. Public information by phone through the metropolitan number 010. Coordination and monitoring of the various metropolitan municipalities included in the system.
Activities developed by CETRAMSA include user information service, administrative management of social pricing, phone user service for the management of transport service for people with reduced mobility in Barcelona, and other tasks associated with metropolitan mobility.
