Rainwater Master Plan
The rainwater master plan (PDAP) is the document that plans urban drainage network in the metropolitan area and defines a series of proposals of management and action.
Criteria
The PDAP, carried out jointly with the ACA (Catalan Water Agency) is a sectoral planning document that analyses interrelations between different territorial components and the drainage network. To do so, the PDAP uses advanced calculation methods.
The plan provides an overall updated understanding of the state of the network of pipe sewers, sewerages and streams in charge of evacuating water in case of heavy rains.
For each of the basins and municipalities in the metropolitan area, the Master Plan provides a very detailed description of the areas subjected to flood and of the danger degree of each affected area.
