Description
This project serves as the framework for a process of trans-border cooperation involving the private and public sectors and non-profit entities from countries like Jordan and Tunisia from south of the Mediterranean and countries like Italy and Spain from north of the sea. The coordinator of the SIDIG-MED project was the Royal Botanic Garden (RBG) of Tell Ar- Rumman, Jordan.
The project is based on the exchange of experiences and the carrying out of a social project on urban and peri-urban agriculture. The specific activities of the AMB focussed on the construction of urban community vegetable gardens in Sant Boi de Llobregat, under the management of Fundació Marianao, along with other associations and foundations that work for greater social inclusiveness.
