New Medcities publication on the sustainable development challenges in these city spaces

Starting from the analysis of specific cases, including the cities of Izmir (Turkey), Chefchaouen (Morocco), Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Barcelona, the publication points to the regeneration of historical city centres as a participative process among all stakeholders involved – civil society, public and private enterprises – to seek balance between economic development, tourism and citizens' daily lives.
