RESSOC cooperates in the construction of 250 kiosks at bus stations

The first 25 ecological stands are up and running for ambulatory sellers at the bus stations in Managua (Nicaragua), built by the CAUPAZ Cooperative, member of the union of cooperatives created in the framework of the RESSOC project, which was led by the AMB and developed with the mayor's office of Managua as a partner.

This new project makes the sustainability and good health of cooperatives engaged with the RESSOC clear, as well as their environmental sustainability, as the kiosks were built at the recycling centre, known as Ressourcerie, reusing pallets that were donated by the logistics centre of the multinational Unilever in Managua.

The official inauguration event for the first 25 eco kiosks was attended by representatives of INTUR (Nicaraguan Tourism Institute), the project organiser, and the Self-Employed Confederation-National Workers Front, which brings together the ambulatory sellers of Nicaragua. A new agreement will be signed shortly for the construction of the remaining 225 kiosks.
