Description

The aim of the project is to address the most pressing needs of the population affected by the armed conflict in Gaza (Palestine). In an extremely complex context, following the escalation of violence since October 2023, one of the immediate needs identified is to distribute basic food and drinking water to the population in the Gaza Strip.

A total of 1,110 rations of water and basic foodstuffs have been distributed to 1,110 people, 566 (51%) of whom are women.

The project focuses on human rights, gender, diversity, environmental sustainability, democratic governance and a culture of peace and non-violence, all of which are necessary to ensure the desired impact on the territory. The actions are aligned with the 2030 Agenda, especially Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero Hunger), 3 (Health and Well-being), 5 (Gender Equality) and 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).
