Visit from French public companies

Representatives from the SCET-Caisse de Dépots network take an interest in AMB projects
A delegation of nearly 30 representatives from French municipal public companies in the SCET-Caisse de Dépots network visited the AMB to learn first-hand how they operate and about the different lines of action, such as the process to draft the new Urban Master Plan (PDU), the housing policy and role of IMPSOL, as well as some of the municipal projects underway in the scope of public spaces.
The welcome and presentation of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area and of the PDU was done by Ramon M. Torra, manager of AMB, Josep Maria Carreras, director of City Planning Services, Xavier Segura, director of Public Space Services, and Amadeu Iglesias, manager of IMPSOL.
After the presentation, attendees could learn first-hand about different projects developed by the AMB, including the Llobregat River Park, the seafront and the Castelldefels Library.
The French delegation visited Barcelona as part of the organisation's activities that are scheduled to exchange experiences and training.
