-
Do I have to use public transport for both my outward and return journeys?
No, you only need to make one journey by public transport between the start and end of the service. It makes no difference whether you use public transport on both journeys or only on either your outward or return journey.

In general, the time limit for parking is 24 hours from when you start the service via the app. However, you can only park at the Llobregat Centre car park until 11 pm on the day the service starts.

Once you have registered, all you have to do is follow the instructions on how to use the app whenever you want to use the free parking service in one of the P+R parking zones: start the service from the app, validate your public transport ticket when you come back and end the service from the app once you have vacated your parking space.
- Where and how do I register to use the Cornellà - Llobregat Centre P+R car park?
Using the app
-
Can I find out if there will be a free parking space before I leave home?
You can use the app to check how busy each of the P+R parking zones is. Just tap ‘Zones P+R’ in the app’s dropdown menu. This shows whether the occupancy level of the zone you’d like to use is low, medium or high.
-
Can I find out how much parking time I have left before I reach the limit?
Once you’ve started a service from the app, the parking time remaining until you reach the limit (24 consecutive hours) is displayed at the top of the main screen. The date and time when you start the service are also displayed.
-
How can I change my user account password?
You can change your user account password by pressing ‘Perfil’ (profile) in the app’s dropdown menu. Your personal details will be displayed and you can edit them and change your password.
-
Can I use the service without a smartphone?
If you don’t have a smartphone, you can use the P+R service web app from any device with an internet connection by registering here.
-
Can I get notifications and alerts about how long I have left before I reach the parking time limit?
Yes. You can get notifications and alerts about the end of the parking service via the app by turning on AMB P+R Aparcaments d’Intercanvi app notifications on your mobile device.
-
Can I register more than one vehicle in my profile?
You can have more than one vehicle registered in your profile. However, you can only use one parking space at a time even if you have more than one vehicle associated with your account. When starting the service, you will have to choose which vehicle you want to park.
-
What should I do if I share a vehicle with another service user?
The same vehicle can be registered in two different user accounts. However, it can only be parked by one user at a time.
-
Why do I need to start and end the service on the app if I validate my public transport ticket when I get back?
By starting and ending the service on the app after taking up or vacating a parking space, you provide other users with real-time information about the occupancy level of the P+R parking zones. This is crucial for the successful operation of the service and is independent of validating your transport ticket. If you park without having started the service or go over the parking time limit without having ended the service, you will be in breach of the rules of use of the service and may be fined.
Validating public transport tickets
-
Do I have to validate my public transport ticket every day?
How often you need to validate your public transport ticket varies depending on the ticket. You only need to validate tickets for a specific time period (T-mes or T- trimestre) once at the ticket machine because they let you use the P+R service until your ticket expires. By contrast, you have to validate tickets not associated with a time period (e.g., T-10) every time you use the service, and they are only valid during the associated 24-hour period (from the start of the service on the app).
-
What should I do if the ticket machine is out of order or can’t read my ticket?
If the ticket validation machine is out of service or can’t read your ticket, you should contact our customer care service by calling 93 033 33 33 or using the website form to prevent your ticket from being logged as a non-validation incident.
-
What should I do if a P+R car park does not have a ticket validation machine?
You do not have to validate your ticket on your return journey at P+R car parks which do not have a ticket validation machine. You only need to end the service from the app once you have vacated your parking space.
-
If the P+R service ticket machine is in a railway station concourse, does this mean I can only use the train to travel by public transport?
No, the service accepts any means of public transport in the integrated fare system.
Breach of use
-
What constitutes fraudulent use of the service?
Breaches of the terms of use of the service include parking in a P+R parking space without being registered with the service or without having started the service on the app, failing to validate a valid public transport ticket and overstaying the parking time limit.
-
What are the penalties for misuse of the service?
The management protocol for infringements or breaches which are external to the system (vehicles in P+R spaces during the regulated service hours without having started the P+R service in the system, or overstaying the parking time limit) is set out in each municipality’s regulations and procedures and may result in a fine.
Incidents or breaches which are internal to the system (failing to validate a valid public transport ticket or overstaying parking time without ending the service) will be logged, and AMB Informació reserves the right to impose a minor penalty. The minor penalty is enforced if the user builds up four incidents and means they will be temporarily suspended from the service for one week.
-
What might a build-up of incidents lead to?
Having four incidents warrants a minor penalty and will result in the user’s temporary suspension from the service for one week. However, a severe penalty (temporary suspension of a user for six months) may be imposed if the user has three minor penalties within one year from when the first incident was logged. Incidents are cleared one year after they have been logged or once the six-month suspension period has ended if a severe penalty has been imposed.
-
What happens if I don’t start the service in the app after parking my vehicle?
Parking in a P+R parking zone without having started the service is an infringement and may lead to a fine under each municipality’s regulations. If you forget, we recommend you start the service as soon as possible to avoid being fined.
-
What happens if I’ve validated my public transport ticket but don’t end the service?
If you overstay the time limit allowed for parking in a P+R parking zone, an incident will be logged in your account. If you build up four incidents, this warrants a minor penalty and you will be temporarily suspended from the service for a week. If you forget, we recommend you end the service as soon as possible before going over the 24 consecutive hour parking time limit. If your vehicle is still parked in the parking zone the day after you have overstayed the parking time limit, this is an infringement and you may be fined under the regulations of the municipality concerned.
-
What happens if I overstay due to a delay on the rail network?
Any incidents which may have occurred as a result of accidents and long delays on the rail network or in similar exceptional cases will be cancelled.
-
Where can I appeal fines?
If you’ve received a penalty notice related to parking in one of the P+R parking zones, you can appeal the fine with the city council for the municipality concerned or the organisation owning the car park, as applicable. AMB Informació accepts no liability whatsoever and has no jurisdiction in any appeals relating to any penalties associated with such infringements.
