Special Audic Commission
The Special Audit Commission aims to check the AMB accounts in order to ensure that citizenship resources are managed rigorously.
Functions
The Special Audit Commission main function is checking the AMB General Account, which comprises the accounting of the metropolitan administration, the metropolitan autonomous bodies and the metropolitan public capital companies. Its aim is to ensure a careful administration of public money.
It is a basic body of the AMB governance structure and it is composed of one representative from each of the political groups composing the Metropolitan Council, who are appointed by the Council itself.
