The AMB has reached a partnership agreement with the Francesc Layret COCEMFE Barcelona Federation which sets out the metropolitan authority's priority areas of intervention in accessibility.

This partnership's purpose is to support the new social paradigm of disability in order to craft a new social model inspired by enhancing respect for human dignity, equality and personal freedom while fostering social inclusion anchored in the principles of independent living, non-discrimination, universal accessibility, normalisation of the environment and civil dialogue in the AMB municipalities.
