Synopsis

This magazine brings together a collection of articles that expand on and complement the challenges posed in the exhibition. The publication opens a space for reflection on how we design and transform public space, facilities, and the metropolitan territory in the face of environmental, social, and urban changes.

The texts delve into seven actions: adapting, reconnecting, moving, recovering, caring, equipping, and living. Seven challenges and seven approaches that allow us to rethink the metropolitan project from diverse perspectives and disciplines.

The reflections go beyond the projects presented in the exhibition and address issues such as the ecological crisis, territorial inequalities, mobility, the reuse of existing structures, the care of shared spaces, the role of facilities, and contemporary forms of inhabiting. The publication concludes with a look at AMB's trajectory in building the metropolis and the challenges that will shape its future transformation.
