Description

The goal of Go-SUMP is to increase the visibility and impact of projects that promote sustainable urban mobility in order to facilitate the introduction of low-emission transport measures in Mediterranean countries and cooperate in improving the relevant public policies.

Go-SUMP works to remedy the fact that sustainable mobility fails to be taken into account in urban planning, guiding and supporting modular projects to improve visibility, capitalising on best and worst practices and incorporating the results through joint strategies based on synergies and networks. The project will act as a bridge between the Med programme, the projects and stakeholders in terms of communication through thematic groups such as Civitas, Eltis, the SUMP Platform or the Covenant of Mayors.

The role of AMB, as Secretary General of MedCities, consists of encouraging Mediterranean stakeholders to create synergies among the projects and contribute to the communication and capitalisation of the results.
