Not only were technicians from the administration present at the workshop but Raons Públiques an urbanism, architecture and participation cooperative from Barcelona presented  metropolitan projects:  participative urban plans for Sant Feliu de Llobregat and the Imagina Badia project for Badia del Vallès.

Small cities within metropolitan areas

Edge cities are an integral part of the existing metropolitan fabric and can become laboratories for smart, green, economic solutions in the low carbon economy. The overall objective of the project is to improve low carbon economy policies in edge cities and their metropolitan regions.

The next workshop will be held in Brandenburg, Berlin, on 23 September 2019.
