The process of awarding financial aid for cooperation and education for the community projects resumes

Cooperation project in Africa

In August, the AMB is expected to open the 2020 process for submitting projects in the fields of international cooperation and education for global community. NGOs and metropolitan city councils will have a 20-day period to submit their proposals to apply for grants and financial support.

Due to the forced postponement of this call as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, a series of changes to the projects' justification submission deadlines have been made in order to make its development feasible.

The proposals submitted by NGOs and metropolitan councils must respond to one of the following three categories: international cooperation projects, education for the global community projects or joint cooperation between municipal councils and the AMB on international cooperation projects that include education for the global community initiatives (for municipal councils only).

On the 21st of July an online session will be held to clarify any doubts.

With regard to the 2018-2019 call, grants were awarded to 12 international cooperation projects and 18 education for the global community projects carried out by NGOs and 5 joint cooperation projects presented by metropolitan councils.
