Description
The COMANAGE project was created with the aim of addressing and counteracting the main management barriers, including a series of administrative, financial, social and organisational obstacles, that citizens and local public administrations face in energy community projects. It will do so by creating a methodological and operational tool, a community governance framework, equipping the public authorities involved with a set of integrated services, support mechanisms and tools aimed at facilitating the management and governance of energy communities, ensuring their growth and sustainability in the medium and long term.
The ultimate goal of the project will be twofold: first, to ensure that existing energy communities can take off and grow in the medium and long run. Second, to encourage and stimulate the adoption of new community-owned energy projects.
