EIT URBAN MOBILITY recently announced the 10 selected projects to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, two of which involve the AMB (one as leader and another as partner). Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) is also taking part in one of the selected projects, alongside the AMB.

As for metropolitan councils, the Barcelona City Council was awarded one project and the Sant Cugat City Council another one. There is also a strong presence of Catalan partners, such as CARNET, the UPC, ELISAVA, IAAC, SEAT and the Sabadell City Council.

The 10 selected projects have an average budget of €444,000, and most of them involve one or two cities from two different countries.

The AMB submitted 7 projects. The 2 selected ones are:

The FUTURE MOB Project, led by the AMB (with support from Connected Mobility Hub), is intended to promote sustainable mobility and encourage the use of teleworking, through challenges and rewards for shopping at local businesses.
